MADRID â€"  Spaniards used to one bad economic headline after another have been hit by an unexpected critic: U.S. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Romney said in his debate with President Barack Obama that he doesn't want the U.S. to turn into the equivalent of Spain â€" which has unemployment of nearly 25 percent and a deep recession.
Most Spaniards were asleep when Romney spoke, but his comments made headlines Thursday. Some Spaniards criticized him for singling out Spain. Others were not surprised, saying the country is a poster child for economic gloom.
Romney said 42 percent of Spain's gross domestic product is government spending. The Eurostat statistics agency says it was 43.6 percent in 2011, lower than the 49.1 percent average for the European Union's 27 countries.

EXACTLY! how could a monster write heal the world or earth song? and he was a good father because he knew what his father had done wrong to him, and probably promised to never treat his children like he was. if you were abused by your dad, you would probably be VERY delicate with yours. besides, there's no faking the way Paris spoke about him.

There are many reasons why these bogus accusations were made. I'll try to summarize why he was a target in five sections. 1. Michael acted in an odd fashion for his age (1980s-2009). He was basically a child living in an adult's body. This odd behavior made him an easy target for tabloid reporting. It didn't matter how many good things he did. He was "weird" and thus a prime target for mockery. 2. He had another issue that made him light up on the board for a media target: His appearance. From his skin condition and his various plastic surgeries he looked VERY different. So they loved to spin him as being a "freak." 3. He loved being in the company of children. So when some poor families in need of money got their kids in contact with him they went for taking advantage of the fact that people considered him a "freak". This is where the molestation charges came from. 4. The media , having already made a killing off previous "Wacko Jacko" stories was eager to try and spin him off as a pedophile. Know why? Because that type of article sold! Everyone loved Michael Jackson, so when they see a tabloid article saying child molestation charges they quickly buy it out of sheer disbelief. Or the desire to find out what was going on, even if they didn't believe it. 5. The media and the people who attempted to sue him never viewed Michael as a human being. they viewed him as a moneymaking tool. A tool. Never a person- a very sensitive human for that matter. He didn't molest any children. You are 100% correct in your assumption that Michael Jackson was incapable of what he was accused of. A good father and a very emotional songwriter who donated hundreds of millions to charities aiding children and those in need. Neverland Ranch was made for sick and dying children! Michael Jackson was no criminal and I can't think of many better men to have graced this planet. Hope my take on the story answered some questions.

Exactly! Honestly, does it seem like someone who wrote HEAL THE WORLD would be a pedophile? No!! People judge him and they haven't even heard his music, read his lyrics, or listened to what MJ had to say himself. Ugh, it disgusts me! He could still be a good father even without having a good father himself. In fact, he thought his father was abusive and hated him, and that only made him treat his own kids nicer (another reason why MJ was such a good human being).

Because he's not a pedophile, not in the slightest bit. Michael Jackson was one of the few people on this world with a pure heart. He didn't hurt anyone, I don't think he even hated anyone, not even the media. He loved children because their hearts were also pure. He was an amazing human being, and all he wanted to do was heal the world, make it a better place. R.I.P Michael Jackson, my hero.

(Gavin Arvizo.) --Even Michael’s sister, Latoya, said that Michael was a pedophile. --The jury found Michael “not guilty,†they didn’t find him innocent. Even if a jury was 90% sure Michael was a molester, they would still have to find him “not guilty†--Jordan Chandler described Michael’s body accurately, with only a few mistakes. -- There are no reputable web sites that say Jordan Chandler admitted he lied. This is a “made-up†fact that keeps getting repeated. These facts are undeniable. -
