LAGOS, Nigeria â€"  Nigeria's state-run television broadcaster has aired a video showing the nation's first lady weeks after she disappeared from public view over an illness.
The Nigerian Television Authority reported Monday that President Goodluck Jonathan had gone to Germany to visit his wife Patience Jonathan, without saying why she was there. The video showed the first lady standing and smiling as she hugged her children and husband. The state broadcaster did not say when the video was shot.
In September, Patience Jonathan disappeared from public view. Authorities have refused to say publicly why she left the country. An official later told The Associated Press the first lady fell ill with "food poisoning" and needed to be hospitalized in Germany. It is unclear why she remains there.

The US is kind of like a party where everyone is welcome. I don't think we will ever have world peace, too many racist and judgmental people :(

Nice thought, but in practice it is very difficult to carry out, esp if it is going to be a huge one. Where are they going to assemble, who is going to pay for organizing them, or to answer for whatever troubles, waste, traffic/human jams, havoc etc that are sure to result? But to be held in a town or city in one's own country is a possibility. Cheers! Lets drink to peace and harmony! :-))

It would work only until the second person joins with the first and they are not able to decide on the menu! People are eternally contentious, even when they agree on the larger issues like what kinds of place cards to us. When they get to who should be seated with whom, WW III breaks out!
