KARACHI, Pakistan â"   Thousands of people hit the streets in Pakistan's biggest city Sunday to protest an anti-Islam film made in the United States, suggesting anger over the movie is far from over.
Senior police official Nasir Lodhi estimated 5,000 people participated in the Karachi rally. Security was increased, and sections of the city were shut down to help contain the crowd. Demonstrators burned U.S. flags and demanded the filmmakers be punished. Overall, the rally went peacefully.
The crude film entitled "Innocence of Muslims" portrays Islam's Prophet Muhammad as a fraud, a womanizer and a child molester. It has deeply offended many Muslims, and dozens of people have died in protests linked to the movie.
The White House has denounced the film, but also has defended American laws governing freedom of expression.

KABUL, Afghanistanâ"U.S. military deaths in the Afghan war have reached 2,000, a cold reminder of the human cost of an 11-year-old conflict that now garners little public interest at home as the U.S. prepares to withdraw most of its combat forces by the end of 2014.
The toll has climbed steadily in recent months with a spate of attacks by Afghan army and policeâ"supposed alliesâ"against American and North Atlantic Treaty Organization troops. That has raised troubling questions about whether countries in the U.S.-led coalition in Afghanistan will achieve their aim of helping the government in Kabul and its forces stand on their own after most foreign troops depart in little more than two years.
On Sunday, a U.S. official confirmed the latest death, saying that an international service member killed in an apparent insider attack by Afghan forces in the east of the country late Saturday was American. A civilian contractor with NATO and at least two Afghan soldiers also died in the attack, according to a coalition statement and Afghan provincial officials. The U.S. official spoke on condition of anonymity because the nationality of those killed had not been formally released. Names of the dead are usually released after their families or next-of-kin are notified, a process that can take several days. The nationality of the civilian was also not disclosed.
In addition to the 2,000 Americans killed since the Afghan war began on Oct. 7, 2001, at least 1,190 more coalition troops from other countries have also died, according to iCasualties.org, an independent organization that tracks the deaths.
According to the Afghanistan index kept by the Washington-based research center Brookings Institution, about 40% of the American deaths were caused by improvised explosive devices. The majority of those were after 2009, when President Barack Obama ordered a surge that sent in 33,000 additional troops to combat heightened Taliban activity. The surge brought the total number of American troops to 101,000, the peak for the entire war.
According to Brookings, hostile fire was the second most common cause of death, accounting for nearly 31% of Americans killed.
Tracking deaths of Afghan civilians is much more difficult. According to the United Nations, 13,431 civilians were killed in the Afghan conflict between 2007, when the U.N. began keeping statistics, and the end of August. Going back to the U.S.-led invasion in 2001, most estimates put the number of Afghan civilian deaths in the war at more than 20,000.
The number of American dead reflects an Associated Press count of those members of the armed services killed inside Afghanistan since the U.S.-led invasion began. Some other news organizations use a count that also includes those killed outside Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, the global antiterror campaign led by then-President George W. Bush.
The 2001 invasion targeted al Qaeda and its Taliban allies shortly after the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States, which claimed nearly 3,000 lives.
Victory in Afghanistan seemed to come quickly. Kabul fell within weeks, and the hard-line Taliban regime was toppled with few U.S. casualties.
But the Bush administration's shift toward war with Iraq left the Western powers without enough resources on the ground, so by 2006 the Taliban had regrouped into a serious military threat.
Mr. Obama deployed more troops to Afghanistan and casualties have increased sharply in recent years. But the American public grew weary of having its military in a perpetual state of conflict, especially after the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq at the end of last year. That war, which began with a U.S.-led invasion in 2003 to oust Saddam Hussein, cost the lives of nearly 4,500 U.S. troops, more than twice as many as have died in Afghanistan so far.
"The tally is modest by the standards of war historically, but every fatality is a tragedy and 11 years is too long," said Michael O'Hanlon, a fellow at the Brookings. "All that is internalized, however, in an American public that has been watching this campaign for a long time. More newsworthy right now are the insider attacks and the sense of hopelessness they convey to many. "
Attacks by Afghan soldiers or policeâ"or insurgents disguised in their uniformsâ"have killed 52 American and other NATO troops so far this year.
The so-called insider attacks are considered one of the most serious threats to the U.S. exit strategy from the country. In its latest incarnation, that strategy has focused on training Afghan forces to take over security nationwideâ"allowing most foreign troops to go home by the end of 2014.
Although Mr. Obama has pledged that most U.S. combat troops will leave by the end of 2014, American, NATO and allied troops are still dying in Afghanistan at a rate of one a day.
Even with 33,000 American troops back home, the U.S.-led coalition will still have 108,000 troopsâ"including 68,000 from the U.S.â"fighting in Afghanistan at the end of this year. Many of those will be training the Afghan National Security Forces that are to replace them.
"There is a challenge for the administration," Mr. O'Hanlon said, "to remind people in the face of such bad news why this campaign requires more perseverance."
Question by MortalGuardian: Why do some individuals bring up the "separation of church and state" in reference to gay marriage? Firstly, I do not intend to offend anyone here. I have noticed that some people will invoke the "separation of church and state" idea, often in regards to gay marriage. But there is no mention of the separation of church and state in the Constitution. The notion of separation of religion and government comes from various court cases. So why do people bring it up? Best answer for Why do some individuals bring up the "separation of church and state" in reference to gay marriage?:
Answer by Maurog IV Because marriage is a legal contract which belongs to the court and cases thereof.
Answer by Mr. Bluelight Marriage is a religious issue. Personally, I don't think the government should recognize any marriage at all. Let them all be civil unions. "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof." - First Amendment. How do you have no establishment of religion without separation of church and state? The Supreme Court said that was the intent of the passage, as it was written by Thomas Jefferson and that's how he explained in his personal papers what it meant.
Answer by Sunday Crone I believe the problem lies in the inability for Gays to have a license issued and there for having a legal marriage. Having a Church ceremony is not necessarily does not necessary mean it was a legal ceremony conducted with a license. I do not understand the separation of church & State in reference to gay marriage as
Answer by Ben They have hurt feelings . The government should not decide who gets married. It is a personal issue.
Answer by Huh? The Separation of Church and State did not come from "court cases." The term come s from a letter from President Thomas Jefferson discussing the Establishment Clause of the Constitution. Jefferson quotes the Establishment clause and then says "thus building a wall of separation between Church & State." Which history has paraphrased as a separation of church and state. It was clearly the intent of the Founding Fathers that there be a separation of church and state. Recent arguments by conservative Christians denying that fact are attempts at revisionist history. As for Gay Marriage, the country has always allowed for civil marriages, not bound by any religious trappings. No one is suggesting a church be forced to perform gay marriages, but if the government is going to give specials privileges to married couples and not to gay couples, there is a problem. with that @servant of God I just showed that Thomas Jefferson supported a separation of church and state The Treaty of Tripoli explicitly says that the United States is not a Christian Nation. The treaty was negotiated under George Washington and was sent to the Senate for ratification by President John Adams. So their are two more founding fathers that didn't think the US was a christian nation. So who were these founding fathers that considered us a christian nation? Washington, Jefferson and Adams, not only essential to the founding of the Country, they are also the first three Presidents didn't think we were a christian nation. so, what makes you think they didn't think of the Federal Government as anything but secular?
Answer by servant of God Yes, you are correct.....those involved in the US constitution were men of God . They founded the USA with firm foundation in God. Separation of church & state was made up by Godless men. People bring it up as it is their only excuse & means to live their Godless, sinful lifestyle.
Answer by Chargeman One's views on gay marriage may be a religious choice and that right is clearly protected by the First Amendment, but the United States government, state, local, or federal have no right to determine the legitimacy or illegitimacy of the right to marry based off religious grounds. That is clearly a violation of the Establishment clause of the First Amendment. And yes, separation of church and state is not technically in the Constitution but that concept was adopted by many founding fathers, most notably Thomas Jefferson as the logical way to interpret the first amendment. The bottom line is that this is not a Christian Nation, but a nation where the majority are christians, Christians who have every right to follow their religion, as long as they don't ask the government to enforce their own personal views.
Answer by Matthew Those are the same people that bring up Thomas Jefferson as their governmental religious hero : "In 1778 Thomas Jefferson wrote a law in Virginia which contained a punishment of castration for men who engage in sodomy" Thomas Jefferson, A Bill for Proportioning Crimes and Punishments 1778 Papers 2:492--504 LIVE LINK http://press-pubs.uchicago.edu/founders/documents/amendVIIIs10.html
Answer by pÇÊÉ"Ä±Ê É¥É"ÊıÊ⢠OfTheWest People bring it up because the anti-same sex marriage agenda is entirely faith based. Since marriage is a legal contract recognized by The State it falls under The Constitutional rights and privileges of all American citizens and denying same sex couples the same rights and privileges as hetero couples is a direct violation. {{{Guardian}}}
Answer by Michael The first amendment actually does establish the US as a religiously neutral nation. The opposition to gay marriage is pretty much 100% religious. All the individuals who oppose it are religious, and they oppose it for religious reasons. In other words there is no reason to ban gay marriage that the government can legally recognise.
Answer by PastorsRUs People want to live the way they want to, and God expressly created marriage to be between a man and a woman when He gave Adam to Eve, so they rebel against that and want society and self to legislate how to live and love and not God. Scripture does say that there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is (eternal) death.
Answer by Bruce Probably they want to argue that God's view of marriage is irrelevant, and that the state should either have nothing to do with marriage (extreme libertarianism) or that only the state should b e involved. As you mention, the Constitution says nothing about a separation of church and state. It says the state cannot start a public church, and that the state cannot interfere with the free exercise of religion. Thus, the First Amendment ONLY restricts the state. Since God designed humans, our human design or "nature" is clearly relevant to the discussion. Obviously, only the sexual mating of a man and woman can beget a child. Children take about two decades to mature, which means they need a permanent mother-father team. From purely secular self-interest, the state has an interest in promoting marriage. The cost of raising a child is about $ 227,000 (see link). The government, groaning under $ 15 trillion in debt, can't take on that burden. Moreover, kids raised by single parents tend to be less healthy, poorer, lower achieving in school, and more likely to commit crimes. The family is the bedrock of society, and the permanent mating relationship of marriage is only way to build a stable, educating, and nurturing family. Cheers, Bruce

Question by Andy Andy: How do casinos maintain the "Odds favor the house" formula when it comes to the blackjack table? In any other form of gambling in the world, the odds favor the house, not the player. But in this one particular game, blackjack, the winner is the one with the highest value not exceeding 21. So unless the casino is card-fixing, the winning hand either comes up in the dealer's favor, or the player's favor, 50-50 chance either way. How does a casino take that 50-50 and turn it into the "odds always favor the house" scenario? Best answer for How do casinos maintain the "Odds favor the house" formula when it comes to the blackjack table?:
Answer by DivideByZero Try consulting Wikipedia before asking a question. The dealer doesn't need to have the best hand to profit from the players. The dealer acts last. So the players have a chance to bust before he acts. If the dealer busts and 2 people win and 4 people bust, the house just made money with the worst hand possible.
Answer by Nathan M Actually with just 1 on 1, odds favor the player since the house hits 16 or less. The house needs something like 2.3 players to even out so, play 1on 1 when you can and don't hit anything above 14!
Answer by William By playing last the dealer has a slight edge and will win long term. My friend said this was wrong and playing perfect strategy she had an edge, I told her she was wrong. Last saturday she turned £50 into £500, so meh, what do I know.
Answer by coldrain The dealer acts last which is a HUGE advantage over the player. The only way to gain an edge against the house is card counting and play as a team. But doing so, will most likely get y ourself banned from the casino. In regular scenario, it's better to play at a table at which players are making correct moves. Nothing is more frustrating to watch someone makes wrong hit/hold calls. Just remember this, any game available inside of a casino favors the house except Poker.
Answer by sandynlily Everything is "fair" in blackjack with regards to the probibility of a player being dealt a said point total, and with regards to player and the dealer having the same total, it is fair because nobody wins. There a several abnomral situations that scew the average return on investment away from a 100% ROI game. Primarily.... **When the player busts, and the dealer also busts it is not a push, and the casino wins*** Additionally... ***The player collects 3:2 when dealt a blackjack where the dealer only collects the initial bet when dealt a blackjack, this is beneficial to the player **The player can double the initial wager after seeing cards deal to themselves, this CAN BE beneficial to the player. **The player can split two like cards into two seperate hands **The player can surrender a hand. With optimum playing strategy, the game still holds a tiny house advantage, however basic strategy entails about 150 hand combinations and their coresponding actions to be memeorized, since most people do not have them memorised, poor playing strategy yeilds a higher than normal house advantage applieing to the said players. The house advantage in blackjack can be elleminated and transferred to the player by using a card counting system which will allow the player to make infomred decsisions relevant to the game by ovserving cards dealt in previous rounds to guide playing and betting descisions in future rounds before the cards are reshuffled. Card counting is only applicable to blackjack games where multiple rounds are dealt before reshuffling the cards. It is also exploitable by other means 14 misspellings

Answer by Harmon Cooper It's not an easy task determining the blackjack odds when pitting a player against the house. There are many theories on who actually has the advantage and holds the edge in a game of blackjack. It all depends on who you ask - the casino or the player. With that in mind, lets assess an important and often overlooked consideration that may determine the outcome in a game of blackjack. Fighting in Aleppo kills 5, Syrian activists say [getdailynow.blogspot.com]
750000 television spots, 5000 movie trailers, 1 voice, Don LaFontaine has the most recognizable voice in the game right now. Here is the legend's story told by none other than the legend himself. RIP Don LaFontaine (1940-2008)
AMMAN, Jordan â" Â Fighting between Syrian rebels and government forces killed at least five people in the embattled northern city of Aleppo, activists said Sunday.
The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the dead included a man who has been shot by a sniper near the city's medieval citadel earlier in the day. Several homes were also destroyed in the violence, the Observatory said.
The country's commercial capital and largest city, Aleppo is home to some 3 million people and was once a bastion of support for President Bashar Assad. But the city has been hit by fierce fighting since rebels launched an offensive there in July.
Syria's state news agency says Assad's troops have carried out a "successful operation" in western Aleppo against "terrorist gatherings" -- a reference to the rebel Free Syrian Army. SANA said several rebels had been killed or wounded in the violence, but gave no other details.
On Saturday, a fire sparked by battles between Assad's troops and rebels tore through Aleppo's centuries-old covered market, one of the best-preserved bazaars in the Middle East. It was the worst blow yet to the city's historic center and to a UNESCO World Heritage site in Syria.
The heightened violence in Aleppo drew criticism from the city's industrialists of "insufficient" government protection provided to factories and other businesses in the area.
Fares al-Shihabi, head of Aleppo's Chamber of Industry, told Syria's pro-government al-Watan daily that several previous calls on the government for increased protection against "daily armed attacks" on industrial estates "have gone unanswered."
In response, the chamber was forced to hire guards around-the-clock to protect the businesses against attacks by looters, he added.
Rami Martini, chief of Aleppo's Chamber of Tourism, warned of the vulnerability of tourist sites in the area. He told al-Watan that the violence in Aleppo has "dealt a blow in every sense of the word" to the country's tourism sector.
The Aleppo market, a major tourist attraction with its narrow stone alleys and stores selling perfume, fabrics and spices, had been the site of occasional gun battles and shelling for weeks. But amateur video posted Saturday showed wall-to-wall flames engulfing wooden doors as burning debris fell away from the storefronts. Activists said hundreds of shops were affected.
The souk is one of a half-dozen renowned cultural sites in Syria that have become collateral damage in the civil war.
Elsewhere in Syria, the Observatory for Human Rights said a "strong explosion" rattled the northeastern city of Qamishli on the Turkish border. It said the explosion appeared to be caused by a booby-trapped car but that it was not immediately clear whether there were any casualties.
The Observatory said a handful of civilians were killed in violence in Homs and other areas across the country. In the restive southern town of Daraa -- the city where Syria's anti-Assad uprising began with peaceful protests in March 2011 -- tens of homes that belong to rebels were destroyed in the town of Mezereeb, the group added.

Question by Mindia: Why is "State" written with a capital letter in legal literature? I cannot figure out why the word "State" is written with a capital letter in some texts? I study legal literature in English for my thesis (English is not my mother tongue) and see this all the time. Why oh why? I have learned that only names are written with a capital letter (United States), but not normal nouns. Should I write it like that myself in my thesis? An example: "According to the main rule, States and State-owned organs may invoke State immunity." Best answer for Why is "State" written with a capital letter in legal literature?:
Answer by harwarda Because State here is the name of an entity with legal rights and powers.
Answer by bluebellbkk Harwarda is right, but it's also to avoid any possible confusion with the word 'state' meaning a situation or condition. If they're talking about one of the United States in a legal document, they can't allow any room for ambiguity. But if you were writing generally about a system of government similar to that of the USA, you would just say "a number of separate states under federal jurisdiction".

U.S. military deaths in the Afghan war have reached 2,000, a cold reminder of the human cost of an 11-year-old conflict that garners little public interest at home as the United States prepares to withdraw most of its combat forces by the end of 2014.
The toll has climbed steadily in recent months with a spate of attacks by Afghan army and police against American and NATO troops, and questions about whether allied countries will achieve their aim of helping the Afghan government and its forces stand on their own after most foreign troops depart in little more than two years.
A U.S. official confirmed the latest death Sunday, saying that an international service member killed in an apparent insider attack by Afghan forces in the east of the country late Saturday was American. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the nationality of those killed had not been formally released.
A civilian contractor with NATO and at least two Afghan soldiers also died in the attack, according to a coalition statement and Afghan provincial officials. The nationality of the civilian was not disclosed.
At least 1,190 more coalition troops have also died in the Afghanistan war, according to iCasualties.org, an independent organization.
According to the Afghanistan index kept by the Brookings Institution, 40.2 percent of the deaths were caused by improvised explosive devices, with the majority of those after 2009 when President Barack Obama ordered a surge of 33,000 troops to combat heightened Taliban activity. According to the Washington-based research center, the second highest cause, 30.6 percent, was hostile fire
Tracking civilian deaths is much more difficult. According to the U.N., 13,431 civilians were killed in the Afghan conflict between 2007, when the U.N. began keeping statistics, and the end of August. Going back to the U.S.-led invasion in 2001, most estimates put the number of Afghan deaths in the war at more than 20,000.
The number of American dead reflects an Associated Press count of those members of the armed services killed inside Afghanistan since the U.S.-led invasion on Oct. 7, 2001. Some other news organizations use a count that also includes those killed outside Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, the global anti-terror campaign led by then-President George W. Bush.
The 2001 invasion targeted Al Qaeda and its Taliban allies after the Sept. 11 attacks, which claimed nearly 3,000 lives in the United States.
Victory in Afghanistan seemed to come quickly. Kabul fell within weeks, and the hardline Taliban regime was toppled with few U.S. casualties.
But the Bush administration's shift toward war with Iraq left the Western powers without enough resources on the ground, so by 2006 the Taliban had regrouped into a serious military threat.
Obama deployed more troops to Afghanistan, where casualties increased sharply in the last several years.
Attacks by Afghan soldiers or police -- or insurgents disguised in their uniforms -- have killed 52 American and other NATO troops so far this year.
The so-called insider attacks are considered one of the most serious threats to the U.S. exit strategy from the country. In its latest incarnation, that strategy has focused on training Afghan forces to take over security nationwide -- allowing most foreign troops to go home by the end of 2014.
Although Obama has pledged that most U.S. combat troops will leave by the end of 2014, American, NATO and allied troops are still dying in Afghanistan at a rate of one a day.
Even with 33,000 American troops back home, the U.S.-led coalition will still have 108,000 troops -- including 68,000 from the U.S. -- fighting in Afghanistan at the end of this year. Many of those will be training the Afghan National Security Forces that are to replace them.
"There is a challenge for the administration," O'Hanlon said, "to remind people in the face of such bad news why this campaign requires more perseverance."

Somliaâs militant group al-Shabab says it has withdrawn from its last stronghold in the country.
The group said Saturday it has abandoned the Somali port city of Kismayo, a day after Kenyan forces attacked the port city in an operation designed to drive out the militant group. Al-Shabab vowed to strike back.
The Kenyan military said Friday's attack involved land, sea and air forces and was done in coordination with African Union and Somali government troops.
VOA's Somali Service reported Friday Kenyan and Somali government troops controlled some northern neighborhoods of Kismayo, but that most of the town, including the airport, was still in al-Shabab hands. Two witnesses said the militants mounted machine guns on the town's tallest buildings.
Al-Shabab, which is allied with al-Qaida, has used Kismayo's seaport to raise money through taxes, as well as to import weapons.
Kenyan forces e ntered Somalia last year after a series of cross-border kidnappings that Kenya blamed on the militant group.
Pro-Somali government forces have been moving toward Kismayo for more than a month. Kenyan warplanes and warships attacked Kismayo earlier this week ahead of the attempt to push the militants out.
The U.N. refugee agency reported Friday that about 12,000 people left Kismayo in the past month, in some cases to avoid forced recruitment by al-Shabab.
The militant group is seeking to overthrow Somalia's government and impose a hardline form of Islamic law in the country. The group once controlled most of southern and central Somalia, but has lost most of its territory over the past 18 months to pro-government forces.

Question by : How does the "house" of a royal family work? So, I've recently discovered that I'm descendant of both Scottish and English royalty, and I was wondering how does a "house" of a royal family work? And why does different houses have different names? Does the house change when the current royal family runs out of members or something? Best answer for How does the "house" of a royal family work?:
Answer by mojolicious The 'house' is basically the family name. Early transitions from one house to another were inevitably violent; the first peaceable, elective transition in England was from the childless Elizabeth I (Tudor) to James I (Stuart; but rather distantly descended from the Tudor house) in 1603. Despite a bit of trouble with Cromwell the Stuarts hung on until 1714 (by which time England and Scotland had become Great Britain) when there was another elective move â" again due to the lack of an heir â" to the Hanovers (again, distant Stuarts). For some reason I've never quite understood the Hanovers became the 'Saxe-Coburg and Gothas' on the death of Queen Victoria, S-C+G having been the house of her husband. The S-C+Gs changed the name to Windsor in 1917, because the original was deemed a bit too German during the course of the First World War. So... that's it. Lots of murders, two childless Queens, and since 1714 a continuous run but under three different house names. Who do you believe you're descended from?
Answer by HRH Posh Pooch! It works just like a surname. It changes when there is a female monarch who changes her name to that of her husband's. It can also change by simply changing it! The current house of Windsor was known as Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and before that it was Hanover. It changed because Queen Victoria, a Hanover, married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. And it changed to Windsor in 1917 because King George V decided it sounded too German. We were at war with Germany at the time. When Charles becomes King, he will belong to the House of Mountbatten-Windsor. It would have been Mountbatten, after Prince Philip's house name (which was also changed from Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, for similar reasons) but it was decided to combine the two House names, it being modern times. Many women like to hyphenate their names, so why not The Queen?
Answer by Dart Dynasty...it's the family "name", if you will...descended from different people. Just like a person named Smith had a father named Smith, and will name his children Smith.
Answer by SIR ROY. .K.G The next person on the Throne ,barring accidents ,will be "Prince Charles "who I believe will have something to do with changing the "House " name from "Windsor " to another name . Would it surprise contributors to this "hallowed forum " if this was to come about ?Anyone who talks to tree's as Charles does ,and "binned" a beautiful woman for a "Moose "is capable of anything such as I have suggested.Watch out for a more "Germanic " type of name ,or,or something Asian ,to appease our guests ,you never know with that "bloody idiot " ! !

BAGHDAD â" Â Iraq's Interior Ministry says a prison break in Saddam Hussein's hometown in which dozens of Al Qaeda-linked militants escaped was an inside job and that 20 people were killed, including 16 security force members and four inmates.
The ministry's statement late Friday said there was "clear collusion" between some guards and inmates at the Tasfirat prison in Tikrit, 80 miles north of Baghdad. Weapons were brought into the prison during family visits, and wardens left locks inside the facility open.
Of 303 inmates at the prison, 102 escaped in Friday's jailbreak. Four were killed and 23 captured, the statement said.
It said the police chief of Salahuddin province where Tikrit is located, Maj. Gen. Abdul-Karim al-Khazraji, was sacked.
Authorities earlier reported 12 people dead in the break.

Academy Award-winning writer-director Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), whose own personal efforts as well as those of Artists for Peace and Justice have already saved countless lives in Haiti, filmed the private recording session to create the accompanying video and behind-the-scenes production, and serves as Film Director and as an Executive Producer with Jones, Richie, Jean, Phillips and Tortorici . The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.
