French police have arrested three people in an investigation of suspects plotting to travel to conflict zones in Yemen and Somalia to join jihadist fighters.
The arrests in Drancy north of Paris come about a week after French authorities dismantled a suspected jihadist cell believed to recruit militants to fight in Syria.
Agnes Thibault-Lecuivre, a spokeswoman for the Paris prosecutor's office, said Tuesday's arrests had no connection to the Syria recruitment cell. She said Tuesday's roundup of the suspects -- aged 23 to 25 -- were the first arrests under a preliminary investigation begun by Paris prosecutors in May over a possible link to Yemen and Somalia.
Under French anti-terrorism law, the three can be held up to 96 hours before facing preliminary charges or being released.

I remember they had to erect a "Wall" to keep them in the paradise of Berlin. How quickly the "Iron Curtain" is forgotten. It used to take four generations to forget, now only two. Seems History will be re-learned & re-lived. I hope we have enough buckets & mops to clean up the blood. The spoiled generation is going to receive more than a participation trophy, This go round.

Many young people somehow also think that their own military is their enemy. These punks have no respect or knowledge of our service, to make their world so safe, that they can sit on their lazy assxes, expexting free handouts from the government. "From each according to his/her abilities, to each, according to his/her needs" translates, always, ultimately, to... "We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay us." and... economic collapse. Somehow these young punks believe that military spending, and not their laziness, causes economic malaise.
